Gareth Street reflects on a strong second quarter for Procter Street, with continued growth across project management, planning and project controls, commercial services and work winning.

Following a record-breaking start to 2026, I am pleased to reflect on another strong quarter for Procter Street. Q2 has been shaped by growth, new opportunities and, most importantly, the dedication of our teams across the business.
Across our construction and infrastructure consultancy divisions, we are supporting a broader range of clients and projects while continuing to invest in the people and capacity needed for the next stage of our growth.
Supporting complex infrastructure delivery at Radlett
One of the standout successes of the quarter has been the continued progress of our professional services team and our work for SEGRO plc at SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett, a nationally strategic rail freight interchange in Hertfordshire.
The project demonstrates the capability of our multidisciplinary team and the growing demand for expert project management and professional consultancy support across the industrial and logistics sector. As investment and development activity continue, we are
proud to help our clients deliver complex programmes safely, efficiently and successfully.
Expanding our Planning and Project Controls support
Our Planning and Project Controls division has continued to expand in both capability and client reach. During Q2, we welcomed a number of new clients and supported them with robust planning, programme governance and compliance across NEC programmes.
This growth reflects the increasing value organisations place on proactive programme management, clear reporting and strong project controls. These are areas in which our team continues to build an excellent reputation.
Commercial and Contract Services enter new sectors
Growth within our Commercial and Contract Services division has been equally encouraging. The team continues to support a growing portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, providing the commercial expertise clients need to manage risk, protect value and achieve successful project outcomes.
We have also taken an important step into the building sector, partnering with a new client as it expands its print manufacturing operations. This appointment shows the versatility of our commercial services and introduces a market we are keen to develop as part of our wider growth strategy.

Strengthening the work winning pipeline
The success of our Work Winning team has been particularly encouraging. During the quarter, the team secured several significant infrastructure opportunities while beginning relationships with a growing number of new clients.
Their work is creating a strong pipeline and helping to position Procter Street for sustained, long-term growth across civil engineering, infrastructure and the wider construction sector.
Investing in our people and our workspace
To support this momentum, we have continued to invest in our people. We welcomed several new colleagues into our Work Winning and Head Office teams during Q2, strengthening the foundations of the business and adding the capacity and expertise needed to support our growing client base.
It is always exciting to welcome new talent into Procter Street, and I would like to thank everyone who has helped our new starters settle in so quickly.
Our confidence in the future is also reflected in our investment in additional commercial space. The expanded premises will give our growing teams the room they need and support our ambition to continue developing the business over the years ahead. It is an important milestone and a clear sign of Procter Street’s positive trajectory.
A personal reflection
On a personal note, Q2 also gave me the opportunity to spend valuable time with my family during the early summer. Taking time to recharge brings useful perspective and is a reminder that our success is made possible by the hard work, commitment and support of people both inside and outside the business.
Looking ahead to Q3 2026
As we look ahead to Q3, our focus remains firmly on delivering excellent outcomes for clients, supporting our people and building on the momentum created during the first half of the year.
With a strong pipeline of opportunities, growing client relationships, continued investment across the business and expansion into new sectors, we are excited about what lies ahead and confident in our ability to achieve further sustainable growth.
On behalf of the leadership team, thank you to all our colleagues, clients and partners for your continued support. We look forward to sharing more progress in the months ahead.
